Boracol 200RH Fungicide (APVMA 30711). For industrial/domestic use as a remedial treatment of timber against decay and insects.

Active constituents: 52 g/L boron present as disodium octaborate tetrahydrate and 12 g/L benzalkonium chloride.

Label uses include:

  • Prevention of mould, algae and fungi for timber, masonry, brickwork and concrete
  • Remedial/insecticide treatment of timber and concrete
  • Protection of internal Radiata Pine framing timbers from rot due to moisture ingress caused when the timber is stored, transported or used as part of a structure which is to be protected from weather (brown rot and wet rot)

Supplied ready for use for in-situ, remedial preventative treatment as per the label application table. Can be applied by brush, roller, dipping, spraying or by vacuum/pressure treatment plant.

Restraints: DO NOT USE on surfaces which come into direct contact with foodstuffs, on roofs for collection of potable water, or on surfaces which come into direct contact with the ground. DO NOT move treated timber from drip pads until timber surface is drip free.

BORACOL 200RH is supplied ready for use for in-situ, remedial preventative treatment as per the application table. Recommended rate/m² for a depth or thickness of 25 mm, 50 mm and 100 mm: PREVENTION of mould, algae and fungi for Timber, Masonry, Brickwork and concrete 250 mL, 500 mL and 1 L; REMEDIAL/INSECTICIDE Timber and concrete 500 mL, 1 L and 2 L. Protection of internal Radiata Pine Framing Timbers from rot due to moisture ingress caused when the timber is stored, transported or used as part of a structure which is to be protected from weather (Brown rot (Oligoporus placenta), Wet rot (Coniophora puteana)): dip/spray/brush or Vacuum/Pressure Treatment Plant, 430 g as BAE (Boric Acid Equivalent) per 100 kg of wood. To achieve a retention rate of 430 g as BAE per 100 kg of wood, Boracol 200RH should be applied without dilution as per the rates stated in the APPLICATION TABLE. BORACOL 200RH can be applied by brush, roller, dipping, spraying or by Vacuum/Pressure Treatment Plant. If the surface to be treated is very dry the penetration of BORACOL 200RH will be enhanced if the surface is sprayed with water prior to treatment; timber for vacuum/pressure treatment should NOT be sprayed with water prior to treatment. When using high rates (remedial/insecticide) it may be necessary to apply via two coatings with two to three hours interval. Surfaces exposed to weather/rain are recommended to be sealed after application of BORACOL 200RH with a water repellent, paint or other suitable sealant. DO NOT USE on surfaces which come into direct contact with foodstuffs. DO NOT USE on roofs for collection of potable water. DO NOT USE on surfaces which come into direct contact with the ground.
