Lay the BLACK MAX RIBBED DRAINAGE PIPE on level ground and measure your required run length from water source to trough location. Connect sections using barb fittings and stainless steel clamps, ensuring a secure watertight seal by pushing the pipe firmly onto the barb until fully seated. For permanent installations, bury the pipe at least 300mm deep to protect from stock trampling and UV damage. Flush the line thoroughly before connecting to livestock troughs to remove any debris. Tips: Always use stainless steel clamps rather than galvanised to prevent corrosion and ensure long-term reliability in rural environments.
