Benchmark Perfect Mash is a transformational complete feed, naturally low in starch and sugar.
By using highly fermentable super fibres as an energy source instead of grains and grain by-products, Perfect Mash is made for horses as fibre fermenters rather than grain digesters.
Highly palatable, Benchmark Perfect Mash is rich in natural antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and electrolytes, and it is genuinely non-heating.
Benchmark Perfect Mash contains natural antioxidants, including Alkosel 3000 and Melofeed, plus pre and pro-biotics.
Formulated for all horses, and particularly suitable for:
- Horses and ponies that need extra condition.
- Horses and ponies in light to medium work, needing a cool ration.
- Horses and ponies participating in trail riding or endurance that require energy to be available over an extended period.
- Horses that are reactive to high starch, grain-based feeds.

What is Benchmark Perfect Mash?
A complete feed, naturally low in starch and sugar, that uses highly fermentable super fibres as an energy source instead of grains and grain by-products. It is highly palatable and genuinely non-heating.
How do I prepare it?
It can be fed as a mash or dry. For a mash, add 2-3 parts of cold or warm water to 1 part Perfect Mash (by weight, 1-1.5 litres of water to every 500 g). Introduce it gradually over 7-10 days.
How much should I feed?
Dry feeding rates for a 500 kg horse range from 0.8-1.2 kg/day (idle/spelling) to 2.0-2.5 kg/day (heavy exercise). See the directions for 400 kg and 600 kg horses.
