Baycox Coccidiocide for Piglets and Cattle is for the control of coccidiosis in neonatal piglets caused by Isospora suis, and in cattle up to 9 months of age caused by Eimeria bovis or Eimeria zuernii.
Active constituent: 50 g/L Toltrazuril.
Dose (give by mouth):
- Piglets: 1 mL. Treat at 3-6 days old. DO NOT TREAT piglets later than 8 days of age.
- Cattle: 3 mL per 10 kg bodyweight. DO NOT RE-TREAT calves for 75 days after the last treatment.
In the case of diarrhoea in neonatal piglets or calves, obtain a veterinary diagnosis of coccidiosis before using this product.

What is Baycox used for?

What is the dose?
Piglets: 1 mL, given by mouth (DO NOT TREAT piglets later than 8 days of age). Cattle: 3 mL per 10 kg bodyweight, given by mouth (DO NOT RE-TREAT calves for 75 days after the last treatment).
When should I treat calves?
Prevention: in the case of history of coccidiosis on farm, treat 1 week before expected onset of clinical signs. For prevention of coccidiosis in recently weaned calves, treat at weaning time when milk feeding ceases. Treatment: treat at onset of diagnosed clinical signs. In the case of diarrhoea in calves, obtain a veterinary diagnosis of coccidiosis before using this product.
What are the withholding periods?
Meat: cattle 56 days, pigs 70 days before slaughter for human consumption. Milk: DO NOT USE in lactating or pregnant cows where milk may be used or processed for human consumption. ESI: cattle 75 days; an ESI has not been established for pigs.
