Iowa 2.50mm GalMAX Fencing Barbed Wire is supplied on hardwood spools for easy unwinding, and comes with the quality assurance of being produced in Australia.
All wires are heavily galvanised for extended life.

 

Unroll the wire along your fence line and secure to posts using fencing staples, spacing staples about 150mm apart on timber posts. Keep tension consistent as you go—aim for a slight sag of about 50mm over a 10-metre span rather than pulling it wire-tight, which causes sagging later and puts too much strain on posts. For cattle, run this wire on the outside of your post line at knee height to shoulder height depending on your mob's size. Tips: The 2.50mm gauge is heavier than thinner wire, so it'll hold cattle better, but check your post spacing—you need solid posts every 2-3 metres or the weight will sag the line. Keep tension even across all strands rather than over-tightening the last wire; this distributes the load better and saves your posts from leaning out.
