Provide BARASTOC EVERYDAY LAYER MASH as the primary feed for laying hens, allowing ad-libitum (free) access to fresh feed daily. Ensure birds have constant access to clean, fresh water—laying hens require 200-300mL per day. Supplement with oyster shell offered free-choice in a separate container to support strong eggshell production. Store feed in a cool, dry location and use within 6-8 weeks of opening for optimal nutritional quality. Tips: This layer mash is formulated for hens at point-of-lay and beyond; do not feed to young pullets or roosters as the elevated calcium content can cause kidney damage. Average laying hens consume 120-140g daily, so adjust quantities based on flock size and individual bird condition. If birds are free-ranging and foraging, they may consume less commercial feed but still require supplementation to maintain consistent egg production and shell quality.
