Cattle: OP- and SP-resistant Cattle Tick (Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus; NSW, QLD, WA, NT only), Paralysis Tick (Ixodes holocyclus; NSW, QLD, WA, NT only), Bush Tick (Haemaphysalis longicornis; NSW, QLD, WA, NT and VIC). Sheep, goats, deer and certain circus animals: Cattle Tick (NSW only). Pigs: Mange (Sarcoptes scabiei var. suis).

Cattle: Cattle Tick [Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus] (NSW, QLD, WA, NT only), 400 mL/200 L water, treat at intervals of 19-21 days. Paralysis Tick (Ixodes holocyclus) (NSW, QLD, WA, NT only), 400 mL/200 L water, treat at intervals of 7-10 days. Bush Tick (NZ Cattle Tick) (Haemaphysalis longicornis) (NSW, QLD, WA, NT and VIC), 400 mL/200 L water, treat at intervals of 7-21 days. Controls organophosphate and synthetic pyrethroid resistant strains of the Cattle Tick. Sheep, goats, deer and certain circus animals: Cattle Tick (NSW only), 400 mL/200 L water. Treat animals on quarantined holdings at 14-21 day intervals. Treat animals being moved at 3 to 7 day intervals. Pigs: Mange (Sarcoptes scabiei var. suis) (all states), 40 mL/10 L water. Remove feed and bedding from pens, cover drinking bowls and clean out pen. Spray pigs with minimum 2 L spray wash, especially inside ears and legs, under jowls and areas covered by scabs. Replace discarded bedding with clean material. Repeat treatment after 7-10 days. Hand spraying: Ensure all parts of the animal are thoroughly wet, especially belly, inside legs and ears (most important for pigs). Animals should be restrained in a crush for spraying. A pump capable of delivering a coarse spray should be used. Knapsack sprays are NOT recommended. A fresh spray wash must be made up for each day's treatment. Clean out the spray reservoir at the end of each day and discard any remaining wash. Two treatments at 7-10 day intervals are recommended for sows and gilts before entering farrowing pens, for piglets at weaning and for pigs newly brought into the piggery. Boars should be treated every 3 months. Spray races: Initial charging 400 mL/200 L water. Pour required amount of AMITIK EC into a bucket with approximately 10 L of water and stir thoroughly. Pour contents of bucket into reservoir or sump. Rinse bucket and add rinsings. Fill reservoir with total volume of water required. Spraywash in sump must be stirred thoroughly at the start of each spraying session and again if there is a break of more than half an hour during spraying. Each time the level of spray wash in the sump drops by 200 L, add 250 mL AMITIK EC, without adding water, and continue spraying. Unstabilised wash: stabilisation is not required when all spray wash is used within 24 hours; any remaining wash must be discarded and a new batch made up for the next spraying session. Stabilised wash: if unused wash is retained in the sump, add hydrated lime (AMITIK stabiliser) at the rate of 2 kg/200 L of spraywash and stir vigorously; further additions of hydrated lime at the rate of 1 kg/200 L wash must be made at intervals of 2 months when regular spraying is not in progress. Contraindications: This product should not be used on horses, other equines, felines or chihuahua dogs. Precautions: Treat animals in accordance with good agricultural practice. Animals should not be treated in extremely hot weather (>40°C) or if under heat stress. Ensure adequate shade is available post-treatment. Withholding periods: Meat ZERO (0) days. Milk ZERO (0) days. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do NOT inhale spray mist. When preparing spray or using the prepared spray, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist, washable hat, elbow length PVC gloves and face shield. If product on skin, immediately wash area with soap and water. After use and before eating, drinking or smoking, wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and water. After each day's use, wash contaminated clothing, gloves and face shield. First aid: If poisoning occurs contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. Phone Australia 131126. Environment: AMITIK EC is toxic to fish. Do not contaminate dams, rivers or streams with AMITIK EC, used containers or spray wash containing AMITIK EC. Storage and disposal: Store below 30°C (Room Temperature) in the closed original container in a dry, well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight. 2 litre container: this container can be recycled if it is clean, dry, free of visible residues and has the drumMUSTER logo visible. Triple or pressure rinse container for disposal. Dispose of rinsate by adding it to the spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemical on site.
