ALLICIN PLUS SULPHUR 40KG BLOCKS FOR CATTLE & SHEEP OLSSONS OLS0615 at a glance

Allicin is a natural compound extracted from garlic. It is produced when garlic is crushed and forms part of the plant’s natural defence mechanism against insects and other pests. When ingested by livestock, allicin is excreted through the animal’s breath and skin.

Olsson’s Allicin + Sulphur Block is formulated to provide sulphur and essential nutrients that support general metabolism and protein synthesis in livestock. It contains allicin, a garlic-derived compound, and is suitable for cattle, sheep, horses, and goats.

This sulphur supplement is designed to support rumen activity and wool productivity, enhanced with Allicin Plus for additional functional benefits.

Place one 40kg Allicin Plus Sulphur block per 10–20 animals in an accessible location away from water troughs. Allow cattle and sheep free access to the block, enabling them to consume at their own regulated rate based on their nutritional requirements. Monitor consumption regularly and replace blocks as needed. Ensure adequate water availability nearby, as increased water intake may occur with block supplementation. Tips: Position blocks on level ground or use a block holder to prevent wastage and even wear. Check blocks weekly to monitor consumption rates — this helps identify whether animals are meeting their nutritional needs or if dietary deficiencies exist. In wet conditions, move blocks to drier areas to extend their lifespan and maintain palatability.
