Agral is a spray additive designed for use with fungicides, insecticides and herbicides.

It increases wetting and improves spray coverage.

Agral can be used with alkaline sprays and mixes easily with all types of water.

It will not injure the most tender foliage if used as directed.

Spray only to the point where leaves are just wet.

Spraying beyond this will encourage runoff, with obvious loss of product and efficacy.

Mixing:

Agral mixes easily and quickly with water and should be added direct to the spray tank.

It should not be added direct to undiluted sprays containing wetting agents.

Active Ingredients:
600 g/L nonyl phenol ehtylene oxcide

This product is a surfactant spray additive for use with:

  • Herbicides (post-emergence and soil residual types)
  • Insecticides
  • Fungicides

Refer to individual pesticide and herbicide product labels for specific crop and pest information.

General Instructions

PCT REACTOR WETTER 600 is a spray additive designed for use with fungicides, insecticides and weed killers. It increases the activity and efficiency of pesticides and herbicides by improving wetting and spray coverage. Can be used with alkaline sprays and mixes easily with all types of water. Will not injure the tenderest foliage if used as directed.

Important: Spray only to the point where leaves are just wet. Spraying beyond this will encourage run-off with obvious loss of spray chemicals.

Horticultural Sprays

Add at 10mL per 100L of spray (2mL per 15L knapsack). Recommended for addition to all horticultural sprays except those known to include adequate wetting agent in the formulation. For waxy leafed plants which are normally hard to wet, increase the rate for improved activity.

Post-Emergence Herbicides

Add to all post-emergence herbicide sprays to increase efficiency, except those which contain adequate wetting agent. Add only where directed on individual labels as use with selective herbicides outside label directions may reduce crop selectivity. For waxy or hairy leafed plants, increase the rate. Ensure leaves and stems are thoroughly wetted, particularly when treating dense, tall vegetation.

Standard rates:

  • High volume power spray: 12mL/100L
  • Low volume boom spray: 60mL/100L
  • Misting machines: 5mL/5L
  • Knapsack: 2mL/15L

Paraquat and Diquat Products

Higher rates required for maximum efficiency to ensure even and thorough coverage of plant foliage and increase absorption. Particularly important for killing grasses and tall, dense vegetation.

  • High volume power spray: 200mL/100L
  • Boom spray: 200mL/100L
  • Knapsack: 30mL/15L

Soil Residual Herbicides

When applying soil active herbicides such as Diuron or Atrazine to standing weeds, add to thoroughly wet foliage. Rates range from 125mL–500mL/100L depending on product used. Consult product labels for individual recommendations and restrictions.

Mixing

Mixes easily and quickly with water. Add direct to the spray tank. Do not add direct to undiluted sprays containing wetting agents.

Always read the current registered product label before use. Dose rates and withholding periods on this page are provided as a guide only. The registered label supplied with the product is the legal document and takes precedence. If in doubt, contact TGRM on (07) 5482 1692 or the manufacturer directly.

Application Tips

  • Only spray to the point where leaves are just wet – excessive application causes run-off and loss of spray chemicals
  • Increase rates for waxy or hairy leafed plants which are normally hard to wet
  • For dense, tall vegetation, ensure leaves and stems are thoroughly wetted for foliar herbicides to work efficiently
  • Do not use with selective herbicides outside label directions as this may reduce crop selectivity
  • Can be used with alkaline sprays and mixes easily with all types of water
  • Will not injure tender foliage when used as directed

Storage and Disposal

Storage: Keep out of reach of children. Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well ventilated area. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.

Disposal: Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. If recycling, replace cap and return clean containers to recycler or designated collection point. If not recycling, break, crush, or puncture and bury empty containers in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is available, bury the containers below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers and product should not be burnt.

Common Questions

What is Agral Spray Adjuvant used for?

Agral is a spray additive designed to be used alongside fungicides, insecticides and herbicides. It increases wetting and improves spray coverage on plants, helping your chemical treatments work more effectively.

Can I use Agral with all types of water?

Yes, Agral mixes easily with all types of water and can be used with alkaline sprays. It's a flexible product that works well in most spray mixes.

How do I add Agral to my spray tank?

Agral mixes easily and quickly with water and should be added direct to the spray tank. However, it should not be added direct to undiluted sprays that already contain wetting agents. Always check the product label for detailed mixing instructions.

Will Agral damage tender plants?

When used as directed, Agral will not injure the most tender foliage. A key tip is to spray only to the point where leaves are just wet. Spraying beyond this point encourages runoff, which wastes product and reduces effectiveness.
