DOG MESH HEAVY DUTY

Whites Rural Dog Mesh Heavy Duty is an ideal fencing mesh
to keep larger dogs and similar sized animals within
a boundary, or out of garden beds and yards.

• Graduated mesh

• 2.5mm galvanised wire

Line and picket wires have been strengthened for added
rigidity. The graduated mesh is available in 120cm
& 180cm heights, with smaller apertures at the base
to fence puppies and smaller animals.

Unroll the mesh and stretch it tight along your fence line, securing it to posts with fencing clips or wire every 30-40cm to prevent sagging. For dog containment, bury the bottom 10-15cm into the ground or bend it outward at the base to stop them digging underneath. Ensure posts are no more than 1.5 metres apart to keep the mesh taut and prevent it bowing out under pressure from larger dogs or stock pushing against it. Tips: Check your mesh regularly for bent or damaged sections, especially after heavy rain or wind – a single weak spot is all a determined dog needs to escape. In hot Queensland summers, the mesh can expand slightly, so don't over-tension it during installation or it'll tear when the metal contracts in cooler months. Use galvanised or stainless clips rather than just tying with plain wire, as they won't rust and won't cut into the mesh under tension.
