Situations: brassica crops, forage crops, lucerne and medics in forage crops, commercial turf to which the public do not have access, commercial and industrial areas not accessible to the public, hides and skins, commercial potted ornamentals, termite nests in wall cavities. Pests: blue oat mite, red-legged earth mite, spotted alfalfa aphid, bluegreen aphid, pea aphid, ants, funnel ant, fleas, hide beetles, scarab beetle larvae, termite colony (APVMA 55755).

Surefire Fortune 500 is too hazardous for use by householders. Do not use in or around publicly accessible residential, public or commercial areas. Do not use in areas accessible to children. Examples of label rates: brassica crops (broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower) - blue oat mite and red-legged earth mite 140 mL/ha; do not apply after 14 days of transplanting and do not apply more than once per year. Lucerne and medics in forage crops - spotted alfalfa aphid, bluegreen aphid and pea aphid 200 to 260 mL/ha. Commercial turf to which the public do not have access - funnel ant 5 mL/5 L water as a spot spray, applying 30 mL spray to each mound. Commercial and industrial areas not accessible to the public - ants including Argentine ants (outdoor use only) 95 mL/10 L of water; fleas (outdoor use only) 90 mL/10 L of water - treat areas where animals frequent; remove animals during treatment and until spray deposit is dry. Hides/skins - hide beetles 200 mL/100 L of water, applied to the flesh side of skins or hides. Potted ornamentals (commercial cultivation only) - scarab beetle larvae 20 to 40 mL/100 L water, applied as a pot drench and watered through. Termite nest or colony in wall cavities - 100 mL/10 L of water; holes should be drilled into the nest and the termiticide injected. Do not enter treated forage crops, lucerne crops or medics for 2 days after treatment for scouting or for 8 days after treatment for irrigation (hand set). Do not permit re-occupation of any premises until treated areas are completely dry (normally 3-4 hours) and adequately ventilated. Export slaughter intervals: grazing animals that have been grazing on or fed treated crops should be placed on clean feed for 21 days prior to slaughter for export. Pigs that have been fed treated crops should be placed on clean feed for 14 days prior to slaughter for export. The grazing withholding periods only apply to stock slaughtered for the domestic market. Restraints: Do not apply by aircraft. Do not apply using equipment carried on the back of the user. Do not apply using a mechanically pressurised hand wand sprayer. Do not spray polycarbonate surfaces, roof sheeting or aged vinyl wall cladding as solvent may cause etching. Do not treat outdoor termite nests, including nests located in trees. Do not allow animals and pets to contact treated areas for at least 24 hours. Do not apply unless the wind speed is between 3 and 20 km/h, and do not apply if surface temperature inversion conditions are present. Boom sprayers: spray droplets not smaller than a MEDIUM spray droplet size category and the mandatory downwind buffer zones on the label must be observed. Highly toxic to bees. To protect bees and pollinating insects, DO NOT apply when flowering plants or weeds are present. DO NOT use where bees are actively foraging. Very toxic to aquatic life. DO NOT contaminate wetlands or watercourses with this product or used containers. DO NOT apply if heavy rains or storms are forecast within 3 days. DO NOT irrigate to the point of field runoff for at least 3 days after application. Always read the registered label before use (APVMA 55755).
