Whole Barley is used in diets for all classes of pigs, cattle, horses, sheep and goats and can be a good finisher.

Barley fed to Horses needs to be either Boiled, Kibbled or Flaked.

As Barley is a heavy Grain, when fed whole to a Horse and exposed to stomach acids it will ferment and may cause Colic.

The Animal digestive tract determines if the Grain needs to be processed.

This is done through a Roller Mill.

Allora Grain & Milling Roll Grains on a Monthly basis to maintain fresh product, as when Grains are processed through a Roller Mill, the nutritional value will decline quicker than Whole Grains as they are exposed to the air allowing oxidation.

Storage:

This product should be stored in a cool, shaded, and dry place free from vermin.
