Mi-Feed Free Range Scratch Mix is a complete feed made up of cracked and whole grains suitable for domestic laying hens.
A grain mix with protein concentrate pellet to ensure hens receive all the essential nutrients for that perfect egg.
Free Range Scratch Mix is a complete feed for domestic chickens and should be fed to hens from the point of lay. Free Range Scratch Mix should be available to hens ad libitum (available at all times) All the protein and essential minerals and vitamins are contained in the pellet - this helps to ensure hens are receiving all nutrients without sorting them out. Free Range Scratch Mix is a great feed when feeding off the ground rather than out of feeders as there are no small particles.

Feeding Tips :
Introduce to birds from 18 - 20 weeks of age.
Intake varies from 105 grams - 140 grams per day depending on bird health & breed, lighting, housing, climate conditions and water supply.
Can be blended with layer pellets to give variety to layers diet and further enhance mineral content.
Fresh, clean water to be accessible at all times.
Greens can be fed in conjunction with scratch mix.
Older hens (>2 years) egg production will decline rapidly
