Description
Glanvac 3S is a combined clostridial vaccine with selenium supplementation designed to protect sheep against multiple diseases and to help correct selenium deficiency in lambs in areas where selenium is known or suspected to be low. It employs ultra filtration technology to produce a focused immune response using a convenient 1mL dose for all classes of sheep.
Key Benefits
€¢ Provides protection against key clostridial diseases including Cheesy Gland (caseous lymphadenitis / CLA), enterotoxaemia (pulpy kidney) and tetanus.
€¢ Includes selenium to help prevent White Muscle Disease in lambs in areas with known or suspected selenium deficiency; selenium is also important for growth, wool production and fertility.
€¢ Single 1?mL dose makes vaccination simple and consistent across all ages of sheep.
€¢ Helps improve lamb marking percentages, maintain flock health, and enhance wool and meat quality by reducing disease losses.
Composition
€¢ Contains ultra filtered clostridial toxoids (including Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, Clostridium perfringens Type D, and Clostridium tetani).
€¢ Contains selenium as sodium selenate at an effective dosage to support selenium status in deficient areas.
€¢ Preservative (thiomersal) and other formulation ingredients present.
Indications
Use Glanvac 3S to:
€¢ Control caseous lymphadenitis (CLA / Cheesy Gland) in sheep flocks.
€¢ Prevent enterotoxaemia (pulpy kidney disease) caused by Clostridium perfringens Type D.
€¢ Prevent tetanus.
€¢ Treat and prevent selenium deficiency in lambs in areas of known or suspected selenium deficiency.
€¢ Used where selenium requirements are not met by other supplementation.
Dosage & Administration

€¢ 1mL per animal injected subcutaneously on the side of the neck just behind and below the base of the ear.
