Description

A Systemic Fungicide for the control of root rot in avocado, root and collar rot in citrus, root and crown rot in ornamentals & root and heart rot in pineapples caused by phytophthora fungi and for the control of downy mildew in grapes, poppies and cucurbitsh.

Aus-Phoz 600 Systemic Fungicide is an aqueous buffered solution of phosphorous acid
for effective control of downy mildew, Phytopthora and associated root diseases.

Aus-Phoz 600 Systemic Fungicide is a non-toxic, aqueous fungicide for the control of
downy mildew and phytophthora species.

Aus-Phoz 600 Systemic Fungicide is systemically absorbed by the plant and has a
two-fold mode of action:

Activates the plants own immune defence response.
Phosphorous acid has a unique form of PO3- which moves around the plant unreacted unlike Phosphate (PO4) which forms ADP and ATP.
Pathogen will readily accumulate PO3 which cannot be assimilated into these energy
compounds.
This accumulation weakens the pathogen enough for it to exhibit stress metabolites which is detected by the plant.
The plant will then protect itself by issuing a defence response and kill the pathogen.

Directly inhibiting fungus growth by changing the nature of the fungal cell walls at
high concentrations.
Phosphonates are highly systemic and mobile, thus translocation to new growth
provides additional disease protection.
Due to its mode of action, Aus-Phoz 600 Systemic Fungicide can be used as a
protective or curative treatment or both.
Aus-Phoz 600 Systemic Fungicide will heighten the awareness of plants to fungal attack and help maintain a healthier, higher yielding crop.
